Neutral Spice

Happy Thursday everyone! This outfit I'm wearing cost less than $100. Of course I purchased my pieces when they were on sale, but some are still marked down right now. I purchased the spice colored cardigan for only $14.99 a few weekends ago. I found the AE jeans at a local thrift shop with the tags still attached! The heels are from Aldo, and I've been told they are selling like crazy. The bag is from Charming Charlie's, so I'm sure they are fully stocked as always!

I hope your day was filled with happiness and great accomplishments. I couldn't tell if it was going to rain today or not. It was sunny one moment and then cloudy the next. Thankfully it was hat day at the school today!:) But overall, today I went to work, studied for an upcoming exam, and later searched on Pinterest for healthy apple pie and pumpkin pie recipes. Oh the joy and excitement!lol:)

The Perfect Dress

I deemed this dress to be the perfect dress because it's so versatile! You can wear it for so many different occasions and always feel confidently dress! I paired this outfit with comfortable booties so that my feet would be comfortable while teaching. I purchased the tote bag from Charming Charlie's a few seasons ago, but there are similar styles in store now. The necklace was purchased at Charming Charlie's too! Back to the dress, the tag on this dress said burgundy, but in the light it looks cranberry, which is perfect for this time of year!:)

This past weekend I was crazy busy. I had three exams to study for, a major project to work on, and I dealt with the pain from getting power-bands or power-chains placed on my braces. I would like a weekend to rest, but I'm not complaining. I'd be completely bored if I had nothing to do because I'm used to being busy and moving a lot. Busy girl problems!:)

Let me know below what your perfect dress or outfit is and link it below!:)

Macy's American Rag Cargo Vest

Happy Friday! This was a busy week with working full-time, my grad school work, and catching up with family and friends. I'm hoping I can catch up on my Zzzz's and relax this evening. I do plan to go to the library to check out a few novels. I've been anxious for a good read!:)

I always loved the cargo vest look, but never wanted to look out of place. I decided I was going to be bold and pair this vest with simple accessories!lol. I know right, be bold and keep it simple, but yes! All this vest needed today was F21 blue jeans, a ribbed white top, and JF booties. I wanted the focus to be on my vest and booties, while looking casual on a  Friday. Any other day, I would pair this vest with my a white blouse, Chip & Pepper black pants, and my leopard heels.

Blushing Lace with Joie Boots

Happy Thursday ! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year! The weather is perfect. It's not too hot or too cold. The leaves on the trees are changing into beautiful colors. There's apple cider! There's sweaters! There's apple cider! There's boots and scarves! There's apple cider! What more do you need?:)

This is one of my favorite outfits I created from my closet. I purchased this lace- trim sweater because I fell in love with how girly it made me feel. The blush colored blouse is a stable that every girl needs for work or play. I purchased these YMI jeans because they made my curves look good!;)

If you have a difficult time finding over the knee boots that fit your calves, then Joie's Jemina's over the knee boots are the boots for you. They fit me so well and they don't continuously fall down when you walk. I did decide to size up, but I could've definitely ordered my usual size. They are on the pricier side, but when you find a pair of boots that actually fit your legs...what more can I say!;)

Stripes and Cold Shoulder

ASOS Stripe Bodysuit// Hi Rise Flare Jeans// Calvin Klein Black Belt// Steve Madden Carrson Heels// Aldo or this (mines old)// Gold Earrings

Happy Wednesday! The weekend is half way here yayyy! I'm planning to go to Sky Top Orchard this Saturday if time permits. I've been in desperate need of a getaway to just relax and drink apple cider!:)

About this outfit, it's one of my favorites! I found it so simple, yet it's so chic. It's definitely one of those outfits you can wear year after year. I ordered the stripe bodysuit from ASOS, which is one of my favorite online retailers.

The bodysuit is a size petite 2, and it fit me great! I purchased my high rise wide leg jeans from Nordstrom Rack. I'm usually a true size 25 in jeans, but I had to go down to a size 24. I already had my Steve Madden Carrson sandals, which I find very comfortable compared to what others say.

The best thing about this outfit is that it all cost less than $100, if you wear shoes and a bag you've already had.  That's a deal for an outfit I can wear for so many different occasions!:)

Hunter + Plum Chic

Happy Tuesday! Even though I am so exhausted from this past weekend and work, today is such a beautiful day that is filled with so many blessings. Today is my grandfather's 82nd birthday. My grandfather has lived such a prosperous life filled with hardworking, great blessings, and a sea of family and friends who love him.

We celebrated his birthday on Sunday by having a family dinner at my grandparents house. There was so much food and the most delicious sweets I'v had in a long time. I'm looking forward to seeing my family again this evening for round two of celebrating my grandfather's birthday.

Fall for Greenville: White +Denim Made Tribal

Last week went by so fast! After having family stay at our home for a few days during Hurricane Matthew, it was back to work and catch up time for my graduate studies. But this weekend went by even faster!

Every single year, I go to Fall for Greenville to meet up with family and friends. It takes place every year in downtown Greenville on the third weekend in October. There's tons of food, live entertainment, hundreds of vendors selling all types of things. I usually look for funnel cakes, candy apples, and handmade jewelry.

This year I went two times; Friday and Saturday night. Friday night I had girls night with friends I went to college with. I rarely get to see them since we live in different cities, but we always have a great time when we do. If you went to Fall for Greenville this year let me know below what your favorite vendor was and tell me what you ate!:)

Dressing Room Diaries: LC's Collection

This pass weekend, we had family stay at our home from Charleston, SC because of Hurricane Matthew.  My paternal grandmother and four cousins stayed with us for five days. We ended up having a great time together. We went to Dave and Busters, rode through downtown Greenville, and then on Sunday they took a drive to Clemson University.

In today's post, I am showing you what I found at Kohl's. I rarely go to Kohl's, but when I do I can't stay out of Lauren Conrad's collection. Her line fits my personally so well. It's like girly, chic, but with a little sass.
The first item I got my hands on was this ponderosa colored pleated blouse. The details are so on point, and the color makes it the perfect transitional piece.

The next item  I fell in love with was this pintuck tunic blouse. I tried on the blouse in both the white and black, but figure I would get more wear out of the white blouse. The only downfall is that the smallest size was still too big in the shoulders for me.

This last item is one of the most popular items in Lauren Conrad's collection. The eyelet popover sweater in the color heather gray. This top feels so soft and cozy. I could dress it up or down.
In a later post, I'll be sharing how I wore these pieces either to work or out and about. xoxo
