I pray that everyone had an awesome week and is ready for a spectacular weekend. My week actually went by so fast. It consisted of running errands non-stop while having a little Friday night fun celebrating my aunts birthday. Aside from all this I've been feeling "off" because I haven't been as active in my prayer and scripture time as I usually am. For example, I wake up. Say this quick robotic prayer as if that's enough to show my appreciation for all that my heavenly father has blessed me with, and at the end of the day, right before I get into bed, I say another quick robotic prayer as if that's enough. When we as Christian's fall behind in our walk with Christ, we have a hard time finding our way back. It almost becomes a bad habit.
Since this has been heavily on my heart these past weeks, the Lord directed me to focus on Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
This all leads to one will and that is the will of God. The will of God is good, acceptable, and perfect".
Our actions must match the will of God and not be of this world. The deeper our walk with Christ becomes the better we as children of God will be able to discern the will of God. When we are lukewarm, one foot in, one foot out of this world, I don't believe that power to discern God's will is fully there. It's so easy to get caught up in the world, but when we as God's children feel that tug on our hearts, I believe that it is God giving us a nudge to come back and renew ourselves because that is the will of God. God doesn't represent evil, so He doesn't have a grudge towards his children who have fallen. That's another reason why God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to walk this Earth. We needed to see how to love and live a life where we know how to repent for our sins.
With all this being said, God is not angry with us when we don't give our all to him, but we can't expect to live a life of peace when our hearts aren't in line with Christ.
Now to my denim and keds:) My denim skirt is actually Topshop's Moto petite denim skirt and I'm wearing a size 25. Since they have sold out in this skirt, I included another brand with a very similar look. My tee was like $4, and my Keds are my favorite of favorites because they have mini daisy like designs all over them!:)
Stay Blessed,
xoxo Tatiana
