Happy New Year

 Sweater // Leggings // Booties // Bag

I always get so excited when a new year approaches, but at the same time I get strangely sad. Even though I accomplished so many milestones in 2018, I'm left thinking about what I could have done differently. Who could I have spent more time with? What did I waste my down time doing? And why on earth did I eat a medium order of fries with a large sweet tea almost everyday after work?!

I meet so many people who do not believe in making new year resolutions simply because they do not believe in waiting until a specific time in the year to do so. I can't say I necessarily wait until the end of the year to make resolutions, but this is the time of year where I really reevaluate my whole life. I'm not going to tell you my new year resolutions simply because the majority of them are between my heavenly father and me. But, I will tell you how I always set my resolutions in motion:)

First, I purchase a brand new journal just for writing down all of my heart's desires (and for daily prayer time). Next, I organize everything in my life (or simply declutter). I'll usually start decluttering in my closet by taking out any item I can't wear or no longer serves a purpose. Items like t-shirts with dumb sayings that I can't wear to work or super chunky sneakers that look like my grandpa's orthopedic shoes:(.Simply said, anything that is not practical needs to be thrown out into the donations basket, unless it serves as some sentimental value.

I'm ending today's post with a bible verse from Isaiah 58:11" The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail."

Stay blessed,
Tatiana:)

P.S. I hope many blessings to you and your loved ones this new year.
